REVIEW IN DEVOLUTION MAGAZINE (UK)

Rimfrost Magazine, issue 12:

Therese is a passionate editor who dedicates most of her time to her zine. Although our only gripe as we have said before is that the contents is written in Norwegian - and we would love to be able to read it!

In issue 12 of this glossy 44 page mag you will find interviews with Deadstar Assembly, those fiery vamps from Italy Theatres Des Vampires and Shadowhouse. Surprisingly there are quite a few features on our own UK scene. Featuring awesome fashion from new company Cute and Evil, an interview with Assisted Suicide on her Burlesque troupe "Bitter Sweet" and a next issue preview on the inside back page of alternative fashion designer Madame Le Goth.

That's great to know that so many people from the UK are getting exposed in other countries with the help of curious editors who make space for them in their publications. Kudos to Therese.

Elsewhere there is film, live and CD reviews as well as some quirky cartoons from Yazbelle.

Another fab issue from what we can see. Make sure you get a copy if you can read Norwegian!

REVIEW IN DEVOLUTION MAGAZINE (UK)

Rimfrost Magazine, issue 11:

Ok, so let's start with the obvious here - this is a beautiful Norwegian magazine written in erm.. Norwegian. But despite the fact that we have no idea what half the interview or CD reviews say in here that doesn't take away the fact that this is still one of the most professional magazines that are in circulation on the maga(zine) scene.

Editor Therese does a grand job in giving her readers a varied and wide range of bands to read about and have plenty of interviews some of the big guns too. In here you will find My Dying Bride, Mortiis, Combichrist, Dope Stars Inc. (who seem to be everywhere right now!) and a feature on one of the darkest most talented film directors ever - Mr. Tim Burton.

Therese has also added a zine reviews section which is a fab way of exposing us in another country; the reviews are all for UK zines, and it's a proud display of zine covers if I do say so.

I've said it before and will again - this has a huge hint of Meltdown within it but in no way is that a bad thing! Got get a copy if you can read it!
